Just as quickly, Frey learns that she is not welcomed by the rulers of Athia. The protagonist quickly discovers that she is immune to the plague, and the smart (and quite talkative) bracelet wrapped around her arm grants her magical powers. The main character of the game is Frey Holland – a young woman who was mysteriously moved here from modern New York. To make matters worse, the Tantas have overnight become aggressive and hateful dictators who oppress their people. The plague turned animals into bloodthirsty beasts and humans into monsters.
The plague known as The Break, however, pushed Athia to the brink. This once beautiful place flourished under the rule of rulers called Tantas.
The action of Forspoken Free takes place in the fantasy land of Athia. The production was developed by Luminous Productions, a studio owned by Square Enix, which has Final Fantasy XV in its portfolio. Forspoken Free Download PC, originally known by the working title Project Athia, is an open-world action-adventure game with RPG elements.
